Process of Mortgage Planning

The following questions will be the topic of our initial discussion: What are your housing goals and why are they important to you? What is the state of your cash flow right now? What major expenses (college finance, retirement planning, elder care needs, etc.) should we consider as we assist you in developing a budget for the future? What can I do to assist you?
The following topics will be addressed in the next phase of our relationship: What are your alternatives for housing, debt management, and cash flow? What mortgage products and methods, if any, might be beneficial to you? What influence will these mortgage choices have on your entire financial status in the short and long term?
It’s up to you to determine which course of action is best for you after we’ve explored your alternatives and how they might affect your entire housing and financial position. I’ll be available to answer any questions you may have and to assist you in any way I can. I’ll also work with you and other specialists including CPAs, CFP® professionals, attorneys, Realtors, builders, insurance professionals, and other competent advisors to coordinate the entire process.
Because your financial status is likely to alter over time, mortgage planning is a lifelong effort. It is my responsibility as your mortgage planner to assist you in tracking these changes as needed and through an annual chat. Most of the time, this procedure entails a periodic review of: Your cash flow requirements are subject to change. Interest rates and housing market circumstances are also changing. Job shifts, college funding, retirement preparation, and elder-care needs are all examples of family changes and life events.
